Ever have a question about the environment that you can’t find the answer to or feel silly asking someone in person about?  Happens to me all the time….seriously.  A few months ago I googled REDD about a million times until I finally broke down and admitted to our VP for Policy that I didn’t understand it, and asked him to explain it to me in simple (non-policy) words!  I have to say – I might end up looking on GreenAnswers more….

GreenAnswers is a social question and answer site where people can ask, answer and learn about environmental issues. They’ve got a ton of information about REDD and lots of other environmental topics.  Kind of like Wikipedia, everything on the site is driven by the community — from asking and answering questions, to voting on what makes a good answer, the site is totally user-generated.  Members grow their reputations by contributing helpful content and help shape the reputations of their peers by voting on their submissions.
