Photo of the Week — 10.26.09

Our last photo for October, taken by Michael “Nick” Nichols (iLCP member and our photographer of the month) is of elephants at Kruger National Park in South Africa.
These elephants are at the Tinga waterhole. Acacia trees line the bank of the waterhole, creating an amazing effect under the full moon.
Nichols will be one of the many premier photographers presenting during the WILD9 plenary presentation and also participating in the many events planned by the iLCP for WILD9 (WiLDSpeak). WILD9, the 9th World Wilderness Congress, will convene from 6-13 November, Merida Mexico.
