WILD9 Symposium still open for abstracts
Just a week before the deadline for the submission of abstracts on April 1st we received an e-mail from Dr. Alan Watson from the Aldo Leopold Institute informing us that they were receiving abstracts by the hour, by the minute, by the second…both in English and Spanish. The abstracts came from very diverse places, like Nigeria, Iceland, Costa Rica, Tasmania, England, Mexico and South Africa.
The symposium has gathered momentum, and Dr. Watson seemed very enthused with the response. In fact, there are abstracts still trickling in, and there remain some places in the program where additional presentations could be accommodated. So, if anyone has an abstract for a presentation and would like to submit it at any time, they should follow the guidelines posted at the WILD9 page and submit them to the Symposium Co- Chairs at symposium@wild9.org.
The team at the WILD9 Secretariat in Mexico City is going away for the Semana Santa (Holy Week) vacation until next Monday. By the time we all come back, the delegate registry system will be ready. We will keep you all informed through the newsletter, so that everyone can join us in Merida and become a part of change!
