WILD9 – Message from Merida (Translation)

Following the plenary panel on Wild Nature and Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation on Tuesday (10 November), Carlos Manuel Rodriguez and Michael Sweatman introduced the Message from Merida, and urgent calling for wilderness protection as a key strategy to reverse climate change and conserve biodiversity, drafted by the Executive Committee of WILD9 and endorsed by numerous organizations and individuals world-wide.

This video has the translated speeches, Carlos Manuel Rodriguez in English and Michael Sweatman in Spanish, as well as the full signing ceremony.
